Having been inspired by my godmother Chris Stormer, a renowned reflexologist, I finished my training 6 years ago at the British School of Complementary Therapy.  Even now I never cease to be amazed by the benefits reflexology brings to common aliments such as digestive disorders, asthma, anxiety, stress and depression.

As well as its amazing effect to alleviate some of the side effects of pregnancy such as heartburn, constipation, nausea/vomiting, and highblood pressure.

In 2003 I subsequently went on to further develop my therapeutic skills and studied Indian Head Massage at the London Centre of Indian Champissage and have been to Asia several times learning Ayurvedic Yoga Massage, (a combination of deep tissue massage, yoga-based assisted stretching in harmony with rhythmic breathing) and Thai Yoga Massage.

Born in Buenos Aires, Maria Durand has studied various different physical disciplines including Dance, Physical Theatre, Shiatsu, Therapeutic Massage and Reiki. She also trained as a yoga teacher with Anne Marie Newland.

Through these studies she came to Bowen therapy, finding a system which is highly effective and safe to use on anyone with any condition from sports injuries to chronic or organ complaints.

At the International School of Bowen Therapy, she found an amazing technique that allows the body to make the appropriate adjustments to realign and balance itself,  improving health and well-being.

The basic Bowen move is a gentle cross-fibre manipulation of the fascia or connective tissue combined with 2 minutes intervals of relaxation between sequences.

Each treatment is tailored specially for each person's needs. Bowen technique brings out the body's power to heal itself and restore energy flow for a stronger happier life.

Maria offers Bowen treatments, Reiki, Shiatsu and Chair massage sessions.

Hi, my name is Karl and I am a Reiki Master and an Avatar Master.

I discovered Reiki when it helped me to overcome some issues that conventional medicine was unable to address.  As a result, I decided to learn and practice Reiki myself.

Soon afterwards, I discovered Avatar, an incredible self-empowerment course.  Along with many other Avatar Masters, I travel around the world teaching Avatar to thousands of people.

The combination of Reiki and Avatar helped me to realise how wonderful life is and gave me the clarity to decide what I want to do in my life.  I now know that my life's purpose is to help others to empower themselves and I believe that Reiki and Avatar are the perfect way for me to do this.
