Bowen Therapy

The basic Bowen move is a gentle cross-fibre manipulation of the fascia or connective tissue. These specific muscles, tendons and ligaments, initiating relaxation of the muscles and reduction of nerve pressure. This allows the body to make appropriate adjustments to realign and balance for improved health and well being. A therapy that promotes strongly the body's own ability to heal itself.

This gentle and highly effective modality brings substantial relief after the first session, and generally clients only need three treatments, usually one week apart.

Bowen therapy facilitates the balancing of a broad range of conditions. It can address any problem (with medical supervision where appropriate) as the treatment is holistic. Bowen produces an integrated body response and consequently improves circulation, lymphatic and venous draining, assimilation of nutrients and elimination of toxins, joint mobility, posture, clearence of dysfunctional debris, normalization of cellular physiology and tissue integrity.
